European Championships

Considered the 3rd jewel of the Triple Crown in 470 Class racing is the European Championships, the other two events being the Olympic Games and World Championships. The Europeans has been held each year since 1966 and remains the oldest championship in class history. Second is the French Spring Cup which began in 1967.
